In 2019, we set out to reimagine how the world manages contracts and documents. Together with my co-founder and CTO, Pankaj Minda, we built DocuX.ai— a single platform designed to replace outdated and heterogeneous tools and to enabled secure contract creation, collaboration, live tracking, execution, and seamless management of contracts. Our goal was to empower users with greater control, reduce turnaround times, and simplify workflows.

Our journey has been extraordinary:

• 🚀 Launched in April 2022
• 📈 Grew to serve 6,000+ customers in 30+ countries
• 😍 Maintained zero product downtime
• 🔒 Delivered bank-grade security, even for free users
• 🏆 Scored 5/5 on G2, trending as a leader in multiple categories and geographies in 2024

We held ourselves to high standards for usability, security, and reliability. This chapter of innovation and excellence is one we will always cherish.

Over the past year, we've all witnessed the realization of AI's potential, shifting the focus from process-driven tools to solutions that deliver direct, outcome-based value. With the rise of agentic AI, the disruption goes to the core of how organizations define their processes. This evolution is reshaping customer expectations and redefining the SaaS industry. In our humble opinion, most SaaS products will need to be rebuild. Retrofitting or integrating AI into existing workflows will simply not work or cost of making it work will increase business viability risks.

At DocuX, we have carefully considered how to adapt to these changes. While we could continue evolving our platform incrementally, we believe a meaningful pivot toward innovative, native AI-driven solutions aligns better with the future of work and customer expectations.

After a thoughtful deliberation, we have decided to discontinue DocuX.ai services, effective February 7, 2025. This decision, while difficult, reflects our commitment to staying ahead of the curve and embracing opportunities that create lasting value.

To our customers:

Thank you for your trust and for being an integral part of this journey. Your feedback and support have been our foundation. In the coming days, we will provide clear guidance and resources to ensure a seamless transition with minimal impact on your operations. For our paid customers, we will include guidance for the refund of the subscription charges for the unexpired period of your subscription.

To our team:

Your dedication and hard work have been nothing short of inspiring. You've demonstrated that a small, focused, and determined team can achieve incredible things. I'm deeply proud of what we've accomplished together.

To everyone who believed in us:
